Welcome to my bakery, where passion meets the oven, and every loaf is a labor of love. I'm Erica, the heart and hands behind Erica's Bread Boutique. You might be surprised to know that, when I'm not mixing dough, I am a makeup artist in Hollywood, CA, taking care of beautiful starlets one day and creating zombies or aliens the next. But when the world slowed down during the uncertainties of Covid and I had to put my makeup brushes down, I found solace and joy in the art of baking. (In other words, I discovered that rage-baking at 2am was my primary creative and emotional outlet where I could listen to hours of audiobooks while slinging flour all over my kitchen for my poor husband to discover in the morning). Oddly enough, I believe my two professions have lots in common: through makeup brushes or my ovens, I am able to bring warmth and connection to people through service. I believe that whether I am helping someone feel beautiful using makeup or filling their belly with delicious bread, I am offering a similar sensory experience - one that I am continuously customizing and perfecting - with the goal of delighting my customers.
